The Canadian Snowbirds and Senior Traveler demographic is growing rapidly. In 2006 the Conference Board of Canada released a report entitled The Canadian Snowbird Market 2006, cites that the number of snowbirds will grow to 9 million in 2011 from 7.8 million in 2005. This survey also predicts a 26% growth in Snowbird trips from 2005 to 2008.
